The client for this spectacularly located property worked closely with us over several years to create a family estate that will pass through the generations.

A fictional history, written in conjunction with the development of the earliest conceptual designs, describes a series of previous owners of this home who, through fifty-year’s time, modify and add-on to the residence and its attendant structure. These "changes" are reflected in the finished structure in various materials, architectural details and stylistic differences throughout the main house and can be perceived and experienced from the inside and the outside of the home.

To further support the "history" of the estate separate guest cabins and a mass hall were designed and built on the property.
