The Deer Trail residential development in Bachelor Gulch is a small community of sixteen custom homes with ski-in and ski-out access. The residences were developed around four unique floor plans. Exterior elevations were then given subtle modifications to roof forms, materials and colors to create the appearance of sixteen distinct designs that are of one compatible composition. Log and timber trusses, random plank wood flooring and cabinetry, natural stone and other crafted details recall the character of National Park Service structures built throughout the Western United States.

Special care was taken to ensure optimal views while preserving as much privacy as possible by carefully siting each home within the groves of aspens that cover the hillside site.
