The Cotton Ranch Golf Club House seems to float on the edge of its green fairways like the traditional lake boathouses from which the design takes its inspiration. The 10,000 square foot, three-story structure includes a formal restaurant, members lounge, pro shop, exercise rooms and full locker facilities.
The wrap-around verandahs provide a meeting place for golfers and help shade the clapboard-sided building from the intense mountain sun. The location of the building on the site and the color of the roof help to blend the structure with the surrounding landscape.
