The pineapple has symbolized hospitality since a 17th century sea captain displayed this exotic fruit at his front gate to announce his return from a distant tropical voyage. The pineapple represented an invitation of welcome and marked the start of homecoming parties that reacquainted the captain with his friends. The pineapple has since appeared on dinnerware, furniture and fabrics as the universal sign of gracious cordiality.

We have chosen the pineapple as the representative emblem of our firm to signify the nature and intent of our work in the design of residences, hotels and resorts. We take pride in producing functional and engaging environments that encourage both hospitality and well being.
